Manufacturing Facility

The gable-roof workshops are well-equipped with state-of-the-art machineries capable of large volume batch production. Our Production facility consists of two segments. One holds the metal furniture production line and the other for panel-based(MDF,Particle boards etc) furniture products.

The shop floor is managed by a professional and skilled team of people who handle their tasks to perfection and ensure that every process of the product line is taken care of efficiently and effectively. The Production line runs through systematic processes that follow the management and quality standards ensuring that each line of work is done flawlessly and flow of information and material is smooth. Our entire workforce is trained to the best and is our greatest strength and the most valuable asset.

Our Finish: Overview of powder coating plant.

The process at D’Furn is quite robust. The PT process starts from inspection and cleaning, to loading, de-rusting followed by two separate water rinses using RO water, pre-degreasing, degreasing, a third and fourth water rinse again using RO water, followed by DM Water, Phospating, a second DM Water and finally goes into a Water Dry Oven.

When it comes to the powder coating process, we start with the rework, followed by cleaning and inspection, thereafter manual powder coating is carried out, then we use the baking oven, followed by the unloading process, and finally a quality inspection takes place. On successful inspection, assembly is done, followed by packing and finally the dispatch of the product.

ISO 13485:2016 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements. Such organizations can be involved in one or more stages of the life-cycle, including design and development, production, storage and distribution, installation, or servicing of a medical device and design and development or provision of associated activities (e.g. technical support). ISO 13485:2016 can also be used by suppliers or external parties that provide product, including quality management system-related services to such organizations. D’furn is pleased to share that it is certified for the same.


ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization:

a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and

b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

ISO 5001 specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and improving an energy management system (EnMS). The intended outcome is to enable an organization to follow a systematic approach in achieving continual improvement of energy performance and the EnMS. Basically ISO 5001 focuses on energy management and utilisation in an optimum manner. For organizations committed to addressing their impact, conserving resources and improving the bottom line through efficient energy management, this ISO is important and D’Furn is proud to celebrate being certified with the same.


This document:

a) is applicable to any organization regardless of its type, size, complexity, geographical location, organizational culture or the products and services it provides;

b) is applicable to activities affecting energy performance that are managed and controlled by the organization;

c) is applicable irrespective of the quantity, use, or types of energy consumed;

d) requires demonstration of continual energy performance improvement, but does not define levels of energy performance improvement to be achieved;

e) can be used independently, or be aligned or integrated with other management systems.

The certification body has performed an audit of the above product quality system covering the design, manufacture and final inspection of the certified product.The quality system has been assessed, approved and is subject to continuous surveillance according to the medical council directive 93/42/EEC of June 1993.              


The  certificate of Compliance is issued under the following conditions:  

 1. It applies only to the quality system maintained in the manufacture of above referenced models and it does not substitute the design or type-examination     procedures, If requested.                                                                                       

 2. The certificate remains valid until the manufacturing conditions or the quality systems are not changed.                                                                                   

 3. The certificate validity is conditioned by positive results or surveillance audits.                                                                                                                  

 4. After fulfilling the relevant EU legislation, the manufacturer shall affix to each device, of the above referenced models.                                                             

 5. The CE mark as shown below can be used. under the responsibility of the manufacturer, after completion of an EC declaration of conformity and compliance with all relevant EC Directives. The statement is based on a single evaluation of one sample of the above mentioned product. It does not imply an assessment.
